Hobagel Plus

The protective, antiseptic and regenerating film for the oral mucosa

HOBAGEL PLUS is an adjuvant gel for re-epithelialisation and repair of the oral mucosa. It can create a protective, antiseptic, and regenerating film on the soft tissues of the oral cavity.

Thanks to its patented and particularly accentuated adhesiveness, the product guarantees a long-lasting and clinically evident therapeutic effect even in a humid and complex environment such as the oral cavity.

HOBAGEL PLUS is a medical device available in the pharmacy or at the request of dentists and dental hygienists.

The advantages of HOBAGEL PLUS in oral therapies

Suggesting using HOBAGEL PLUS as an adjunctive medical device in different oral therapies, including surgical ones, guarantees considerable clinical advantages for the patient.

In Oral Surgery

After extractive surgery, HOBAGEL PLUS promotes the primary healing of the sutured tissues. At the same time, it reduces pain and functional discomfort in the patient. The antiseptic effect of HOBAGEL PLUS is similar to that obtainable with chlorhexidine gel.

In Periodontics

When used on periodontal patients, HOBAGEL PLUS implements soothing, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and healing actions in a few days. The dental plaque index (-10%) and bleeding index (-35%) also rapidly improve.

In Implantology

The clinician may suggest using HOBAGEL PLUS in the non-surgical treatment of periimplantitis. The product quickly reduces the progressive inflammatory stage and the average depth of periimplantitis probes. There is also a decrease in plaque index (from 55% to 30%) and bleeding index (from 90% to 16%).
